It is one thing to read aloud at home in the privacy of your office—something I do every day to test the sound and flow of each chapter. It is a different matter to read in front of an audience.
Thanks to the Writers Guild at Bloomington, I was able to introduce the first chapters of my new young adult novel, THE EARTHRIDER CHRONICLES (Title is changing). After fighting down jitters I really enjoyed it. My listeners at Boxcar Books were very quiet and judging by the hush in the room they were into it. The Indiana Daily Student (IDS) wrote a nice article about the reading.
Wouldn’t it be great to do this again someday and have the actual book in my hands?
